Hourly Support — Prepaid Developer Hours

Prepaid packs of real developer hours — a fixed entry price, a visible balance, and your unused hours refundable.

Basics

  • Packs of 2, 5 or 10 developer hours — the bigger the pack, the lower the effective rate
  • Every pack is valid 90 days from activation
  • Minimum deduction 0.5 hours — small tasks stay small
  • Task estimate before we start — free, always
  • Unused hours refundable within the 90-day window, minus one hour (our refund policy, in plain sight)

How it works

  1. The order becomes a service you can watch

The paid order becomes a service in your panel with a status of its own, and every change to it is recorded on the service page. From that page you write to us whenever you need to — one conversation per service, not one per order, so there is no second chat to check.

  2. You hand over access, not passwords by email

The short intake form asked what the work needs while you were ordering, and its answers travel with the service. Credentials go into the panel's encrypted storage, never into an email thread, and the form itself never asks for one.

  3. Small requests start; larger ones wait for your word

Every request is estimated first, free. Estimated at two hours or less, it starts right away with a notification to you; above that it waits for you to approve the deduction. You can lower that threshold to zero and approve everything.

  4. Every hour is a line, and nothing renews by itself

Work is logged in quarter-hour steps, each entry tied to the request that caused it, with the remaining balance visible as a number. A subscription renews only under a payment mandate you granted — and can revoke — in the panel.

Illustration of the client panel — not a real account. Every deduction is a line, the balance is a number.

Included

What's included

01

Real development, not just 'edits'

Bug fixes, layout and content changes, plugin configuration, small feature work and consultations — done by developers, not by a ticket macro.

In your plan
02

Free estimate before any deduction

Every task gets an estimate first, free. Small tasks — up to 2 hours — start on that estimate right away, with a notification to you; anything estimated above 2 hours waits for your explicit approval. Prefer to approve everything? Lower the threshold in your settings, down to zero. A task estimated over 8 hours becomes a separately quoted Custom Offer instead of silently eating your pack.

In your plan
03

Minimum deduction 0.5 hours

A five-minute fix costs half an hour, not a full one — and the running balance is always visible in your panel.

In your plan
04

90-day window, honest exit

Hours expire 90 days after activation — and until then, unused hours are refundable at the pack rate minus one hour. No 'use it or lose it' surprise on day 89.

05

Works with care plans

On a Website Care plan, pack hours are spent only after your included plan hours run out — the pack is your overflow buffer, not a replacement.

In your plan
06

Not included

Tasks estimated over 8 hours (Custom Offer), full redesigns, paid plugin licences and content production in volume. A site that is down or hacked is not an hourly task either: Emergency Fix is a separate fixed-price service with its own start SLA and a no-cure-no-pay refund.

Promise

Our guarantees

  • Pay the pack, post the task — that is the onboarding

No deposit to negotiate and no invoice to chase. We publish no start window for pack work, because our order book commits none; what it does commit — a free estimate before a single hour is deducted — is the guarantee below.

  • Unused hours come back

Within the 90-day window, unused hours are refunded at the pack rate minus one hour. You risk one hour, not the pack.

  • No task starts without an estimate

Every task is estimated first, free. Estimates above 2 hours wait for your explicit approval — and you can set your approval threshold to zero to confirm every task, whatever its size. Over 8 hours it becomes a quoted Custom Offer — your pack is never silently drained.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What kind of tasks fit an hourly pack?

Typical pack work: fixing errors, layout and content changes, configuring plugins, small feature additions, consultations and second opinions. If the estimate exceeds 8 hours, we quote it as a fixed-price Custom Offer instead.

How do I know how many hours are left?

Your remaining balance is visible in the client panel, and every deduction is tied to a task you approved. Work is logged in quarter-hour steps with a half-hour minimum per task, so the arithmetic stays legible.

What happens if I don't use the hours?

Hours expire 90 days after activation. Before that happens you can request a refund of the unused hours at your pack's rate, minus one hour — that rule comes from our refund policy and is the same for every pack size.

Can I use pack hours on top of my Website Care plan?

Yes — that is the designed overflow path. Pack hours are deducted only after your plan's included hours are used up for the month.

Do you start work before payment?

No. Strict prepayment is how the platform works: paying the pack in the panel opens the service and credits its hours to your balance, and in return every task is estimated free before a single hour is deducted — no invoicing dance, no waiting for a project manager.

What you get

01

Bug fix on one page

One broken thing named and repaired — a layout that collapsed, a form that stopped sending, an error after an update.

02

Plugin conflict

Two plugins fighting after an update: the culprit identified, the conflict resolved or the plugin replaced.

03

Search Console and indexing fix

Errors reported in Google Search Console — indexing, duplicates, structured data — read and corrected on the site.

04

GA4 tracking fix

Events that stopped firing, a conversion counted twice, traffic from your own office polluting the report.

05

Cloudflare and SSL

Certificate renewal, a redirect loop, cache and DNS records set the way your site actually needs them.

06

WPML and multilingual snags

Missing translations of menus and strings, a language switcher that drops the visitor on the wrong page.

07

Theme tweaks

Spacing, typography, a block that behaves on desktop and not on mobile — changed in a child theme, not in the parent.

08

Cookie banner and Consent Mode v2

A consent banner installed and wired to your analytics, so tags respect the visitor’s answer.

09

WordPress installation and theme setup

A fresh install, the theme brought to the state of its demo, the plugins you need and a first backup.

10

Content and layout changes

Pages edited, sections rearranged, images replaced — the ordinary work a site needs between bigger projects.
